Verns collection.

Traveller vehicles were an integral part of the free festival scene of the late seventies to the middle nineties and beyond ( although due to legislation passed in 1994 which made it very hard to live on the road, numbers have fallen greatly ).They were home to many who had no other means of shelter or who wanted to flee the constrictions of the city . Traveller Vern has spent the last ten years living on the road . Initially in his own bus - the Bedford Embassy featured below. During that time he took a number of photos of various traveller buses as well as his own horse and cart, which is his current home and means of transport . We are extremely fortunate that Vern has graciously allowed us to display his photos here for the public to enjoy, why not visit his Flickr site and have a squizz at the rest of his nice pix.
