The Yorkshire Folk, Blues & Jazz Festival.

Krumlin, Barkisland ,Yorkshire.

Festival adverts and posters.
As one can see here the original line-up of the festival looked quite different , especially in terms of headliners.  The promoters of this festival actually advertised The Who as the major draw card on the Saturday night ( 15th ). However ,The Who asserted that they had not even been approached to take part and when they heard of this affront , they announced that there was no way they would play.
They were replaced by Pink Floyd who in turn did not get to play because of the appalling weather. It would be interesting to know just which bands managed to play in the end .If you know
