THE EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND push hot, revolutionary messages across with heavy rock and roll and simple pound-ing rhythms. They reach out from the stage and grab their audience . When their spell is working they get the ultimate in par-ticipation going. Now they've done a little heart searching because of the difficulty in getting this "live" atmosphere across on record. In fact in their latest release they've taken a bit of a gamble. The all-action bit has cooled off and given way to some. thing stronger musicallyÑand with more mature lyrics.
