The Phun City Poster.

     Ain't it lovely. We forget how great underground art could be , and this example by Edward Barker , taken from the collecton of Felix Dennis-  from Mick Farren - " Get It Down  , A Decade Of Rock & Roll posters "( Futura ,Dempsey and Squires 1976) makes one want to rush out and buy the book ! (well it does that to me at least )
 

    Part of the original plan was to get the Merry Pranksters and the Grateful Dead to the festival as headliners . This unfortunately fell through and it left the MC5 as headliners , but if it had gone ahead I'd have most likely have been there !
