Images of the Glastonbury crowd .part 2.

I was at the festival in 70 and 71, Ilived in Glastonbury for a couple - 4 years - in a series of tents, barns, etc -
- one thing i can say is that there were toilets - I had an antique (18th century) pirate coat which I had
been given and my girlfriend had made me a shirt with huge sleeves so I could not wear the jacket and loaned
it to a friend who fell in the trench whilst wearing it - incidentally you also have a picture of me on the
site -

I am the one with the black cloak and red hood and long fair hair - top right! - i guess you got it from
the film - they captured the meeting between me and my friend (with me in the pic) perfectly - we had not
seen each other for an age !

	Nudity apparently abounded and for once the British weather  provided suitable conditions for the shedding of clothing on a fairly large scale. Whereas most British rock  festivals were pretty laid back affairs it appears that there was much dancing, a large contingent bopping wildly to Fairports jigs and reels and everyone getting off wildly during Traffic's set , the stage being crowded with freaks in every known stage of intoxication and Traffic delivering the goods with a fantastic version of  Gimme Some Loving.
