LAST NIGHT'S BUSTS.

Last night a guy was busted in his car on the edge of the site. Bust was called out and 100 to150 people ran down but it was too late to get them back. A pig van and DS car were trashed both
having windows broken. Police reinforcements turned up in vans and the people retired on to the site. Tactics were discussed and it was decided to break up but keep our eyes open. We must keep the police off the site. Together we can do this.

HOT-DOG INCIDENTS .
Yesterday, a lot of people were bringing down the prices of rip-off stalIs. In the afternoon , a guy selling French and American cigarettes for 40P was evicted from the site. In the evening, a -group of people went round the hot dog stalls trying to stop people being ripped off. The prices decided upon by today's meeting I HOT DOGS 10p; HAMBURGERS 12p SOFT DRINKS 10p.
Many stalls have agreed to these prices. One by stage A pulled a knife on the people when they I asked him to lower his prices. He has since left. Another pulled a knife by stage C. Don't buy anything at higher than agreed prices.

DAILY MEETING AT,11AM AT STAGE A -TODAY'S REPORT.
Ray of the White Panthers read the minutes of the previous nights delegate meeting: the point of the meeting was to discuss the recommendations.
Its been agreed that all decisions should be made by the daily meeting and not Bill Dwyer, , who has anyway been arrested.
Traders are charged£10-20 on entry and the money has been banked half for next year's festival and half for this year's stage expenses
All traders who are ripping off will not be tolerated. The remedy -for overcharging was to be collective negotiation followed by, if necessary,appropriation and eviction.
Some people felt Stage C was not co-operating and they replied

It was agreed that all messages would be read out; important ones after numbers, others after groups or through information tents.
White Panthers suggested that they should co-ordinate the festival next year and other people said a number of groups should be involved. A collection for free food raised £37 !!!!
Somebody suggested that the meeting should end to make way for a band and this happened. , MICROPOWER:PRICKPOWER , -Its good that everyone can talk though some people are more aggressive than others. with what everyone else wants to say. The Stage people still control the mike. The point of prick power has become the catchword for microphone power, but nothing much has changed.
Especially as regards sexism, i.e., -several women tried to speak but there were more 'significant' men around, We suggest in future that each item be fully discussed until a decision is made and items for the agenda should be handed into Stage A Info tent in advance.

VIOLENCE AT WINDSOR POP FEST (LB.C.News 1.30, 2.30, 3,30 )"After four days of relative peace violence has erupted in 2 serious incidents, when police arrested 2 men on the road. Fans hurled bottles & stones at the police vehicle one policeman was injured by glass from a broken windscreen & taken to a nearby hospital, he has since been released. Festival organiser Bill Dywer was arrested and is expected to be ,charged later today, fans set about another police van, over 300 arrests.

DAY FIVE.
We are the medics from stage C and we are sure that the festival will be a beautiful success. We know that this Earth is not heaven yet but it is coming to be almost as good as heaven .WE, the two medics,have not, had any trouble with the pigs,but we think that we are going to be searched today and seeing this as medical men we know that a bust must come to us ,because of the simple reason that medical men all carry drugs at some time. Look after each other.Love ,Mike Fox Ron Knight. .As a result of last nights meeting a free food kitchen has been set up .Just on the stage:A side of the copse look for the red flag with the silver lion .Hungry or any thing to contribute come along . We'd be especially pleased to see anyone with a large cooking pot.

Edgar Broughton had their gear impounded by their management..BUT they got a court injunction &' have now got the stuff back SO they are gonna play.

RELEASE NEWS
A couple of guys' came to the Release tent & said they’d overheard a couple of pigs planning to cut peoples guy ropes. This is an offence for which together we can make a citizens arrest.

BLOCKING THE ROAD PEOPLES POWER
About 400 people spontaneously blocked the road at 5pm today. After an inconclusive meeting they decided to leave. Many criticisms were made about this. There are two important things ,that outweigh any criticism of tactics.
(1) The feeling amongst people was totally supportive of each other -crowd of 30 swelled to 400 within minutes and from a position of strength the issue was discussed.
(2) the action was a direct response to the harassment of people whose crime is to work together to have a good time.

Five van loads of pigs were up the main gate ready to move in. Had they done so the 400 people could have stopped them but if there had been a MASS decision to move into the road beforehand we would-have been much stronger. So every body on Stage A said we're only' here for the music but its up to us to stop the police fucking us up by arresting 'our brothers & sister's and harassing us constantly
2 or 3 people on Stage,A hogged the mike and denied the right of everyone to discuss the issue, Spontaneousgroup actions are right on but don't be led by Mike Power . A few individuals must not decide collective actions .
